I looked at two different manufacturers, RAM and Chevy. I didn't know about AgPack until I walked into Gordon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and saw the AgPack sign. AgPack made all the difference in the world in my purchasing decision. I'm thrilled that AgPack is supporting the American Farmer.

Questions Farmers Ask

Is Section 179 just for this year?

No. It's a permanent part of the tax code. The deadline comes around every year: the truck has to be working on your operation by December 31 to count for that tax year.

Do I have to pay cash?

No. Financed purchases can qualify. Ask your Certified dealer about CADFi, financing with payments timed to your harvest.

Does a used truck qualify?

It can, as long as it's new to you and meets the same weight, bed and farm-use rules.

How much will I actually save?

It depends on your tax bracket, your farm income and how you use the truck. The deduction can't be larger than your business income for the year. Your tax preparer can tell you what it's worth for your operation.

Does AgPack® lower the price of the truck?

No. AgPack® is a package of farm and ranch supply savings you use after the sale. It has no cash value toward the truck and doesn't change the vehicle price.
